Well i dont know,weres a good place to start? how about a small to med battle or campaign to start with

Well, I have experience playing the Japanese and only just started scen. #12 as the allied player. Other than #12, I've only played the long campaigns. If you have already been messing around with the game for a while than one of the long scenarios is probably the way to go. So if you are ready to commit to a long game then how about this:

jap commit level @ 160%
allied commit level @100%
reinforcement level very variable both sides
fow on
damage control on
advanced weather on
