I do not F!@#$%^&* know how this keeps slipping threw but the turret armour on the Helena class, Brooklyn class, and Cleveland class CLs plus their upgrades is more than twice as thick as it should be.
The Turret armour should be 150 for all not 312.
This should also be changed in the regular scaenario.
I had a confirmation from Mike Wood (i think) months ago that they knew this was an error but they also haven't fixed it.
The Alaska class armour should be 105 deck, 200 belt, 255 tower, 305 turret. these were cruiers for gods sake!

It was set to that in an attempt to have the base hold out until somewhere near historical date of December 25th.
One other thing I noticed. There are two Canadian base forces starting at Whitehorse (I think it's Whitehorse). There isn't a Canadian base force that starts at "Canada". I don't know the historic dispositions, but it seems logical that the additional at Whitehorse should start at Canada.
(remember that I have some issues with the scenario I'm using, so it's possible that the additional base force does indeed start at Canada)
I noticed another little quirk. The base forces at Sacramento, Boise and Spokane (might be others as well) have something like 3 engineers and 1 engineering vehicle (that's the TOE). Should this be more like 10 and 4? (I don't know the historic dispositions, I'm just making an observation)
I also noticed that there aren't any engineers at the United States base force. Maybe there should be at least 10 or so. (I'm guessing that you used up all the available slots with other devices, though)
CHS is pretty fun. It's nice to watch combat animations and see all the cool ship and plane graphics. Cargo ships are now more personal since there are literally dozens of graphics and classes. The plane top graphics are probably the 2nd best graphic change of the game (Andrew's map is the best, since I look at it the most). It's very nice to look at a Zero and have it smaller than the Betty that it's escorting. I can't wait for an updated plane top with some of the missing updates (Wirraway, Some Dutch, others?).
I just noticed that "Grace" is unavailible as an upgrade for IJN DB units. Other units allow you to select a player defined upgrade even if the aircraft is currently unavailable; not so with the IJN DBs. Everything seems fine in the database. What gives?
BTW, this may be old news - I've been busy, so I haven't been able to keep up with the posts.

Yea, i panicked over some late war aircraft when 1.5 came out as well.
It works though; when you get air units with D4Y Judy's the D7A Gracewill show up on the upgrade list and when you have a unit with B6N Jill's the B7A Grace will show up for them.
This is also true for the A7M Sam and a few other late war units.
I have to make sure that every Japanese plane type is referenced somewhere though, I believe everything is.

Hi Don (or the CHS guy who is in charge of aircraft data),
I noticed that quite a few aircraft have their durability decreased by 1 or 2. I'm guessing that these changes will result in quite a few more killed aircraft. If you want to slow down operations, I'd guess that you'd want to increase durability for all aircraft. Can you explain the logic behind the decrease in durability? (please don't take this as criticizm. I'm just curious because it looks like an across the board decrease, with a few exceptions.)
I just remembered another issue I've seen. On Luzon, there is an artillery unit. It's a vehicle artillery unit. (Motorized support and motorized AA guns). That unit doesn't have the option to bombard, like any normal artillery unit. It can only deliberate or shock attack. I don't know what's correct. Either it should be a tank unit or it should only be allowed to bombard. I'm guessing that either the guns are listed incorrect in the database or it's a tank unit that is called artillery.
Sorry that I can't remember the exact name of the unit. But, it's the only Vehicle artillery unit on Luzon (and the only one I've noticed in the entire OOB).
