Looking for an additional match

Post by ADavidB »

Now that I'm comfortable with v1.50 I'm looking for another PBEM match to go along with the game that I already have going against PzB. My other PBEM partners have succumb to the "Perils of Real Life".

I would like to play Allied in any of the long campaign scenarios, or Japanese in one of the short scenarios. I like to play 1 day turns and I'm not very fixated on house rules. I do insist on having as much "computer miscontrol" turned off as possible (e.g., no computer "sub control", Allied sub doctrine "off", etc.).

I can usually do a turn per day, sometimes more, once the initial setups have been completed.

If anyone is interested, please respond here or at my email : anthony "dot" baranyi "at" sympatico "dot" ca .

BTW - I'm in the North American "Eastern Time Zone" (GMT -5 according to the "Forum clock" and the local experts...[;)])

Thanks -

Dave Baranyi

East is GMT -5, not sure if that is with or with out daylight savings on.
Favoritism is alive and well here.

Ah, you're right! I forgot what way DST went in respect to GMT.

EST is always -5 of GMT except for a week around the DST switch-over time in Spring and Autumn. The US switches over a week later than us GMTers.

Oh, okay, I assumed that GMT was fixed. I was probably thinking of how the Japanese don't use daylight savings time.

And my wife tries to say that gaming is a waste of time... look at all the useful things I am learning...[:D]
