Blizzard Bug fixed?

Post by moonfog »

One thing I don't remember from the discussion here. Hope somebody can help me.

Does anybody know for sure whether the Blizzard bug from WiR 3.0 has been fixed in version 3.101? Do defending german Korps now perform better with higher readiness or is it still wiser to keep them on low readiness to prevent shattering?

Thanks

The way things worked was left the same, but the Axis penalty in the 1941 blizzards was reduced so that it is less likely to happen. Overall, it is probably very unlikely to happen anymore, but I am sure it will a time or two still.

Without use of special supply, I hope I can survive the blizzards without loosing too much units...

I've found that readiness of 40% to 50% works the best.

(also i have the front all infantry, all PZ/Mot and all Bn's and Art are moved to the rear before December)

Hi Loki

thanks for the hint. I'll try my best to survive.

I always retreat my tanks behind the front in winter. They are too costly to let them be crushed in the soviet winter offensive. However, the first blizzards occured already on 23rd november this time...the weather gods caught me quite unaware <img src="eek.gif" border="0">
