Factory Production Confusion

Post by lkendter »

What am I missing?

I show resources as 41/7. I still have resouces to use.
I show Eastern Germany as 4/0 for factory points.
The ONLY thing being built is 1 supply point. That was by suspending production of another item.

I keep suspecting this is a RTM question, but I can't figure out what I am missing.

I know building no supplies is the kiss of death in this game.

you sure there's nothing else in your production queu? follow the spiral around, damaged items might have returned there..

I checked the whole spiral and it was empty. The very next turn I went back having all the factory points available.

FYI - this was true for EVERY factory zone, not just the sample I showed.

Did you spend on research. If you spent production on research, they had to come from somewhere and won't show on the production track (as you spend them on the research screen you spend them from the regions after you use up any reserved research points you put on the production track).

I am not sure on that one. However, that does give me at least one idea what to watch. I may have played with research points before production.

I will always finish production before touching research from now on. I will come back if I still have this problem.

Now if I can just figure out the winning plans for the Axis. The allies were easy to win...

It's a good idea to reserve research points as you are doing your normal production so you know where they will be coming from when you spend them on the research screen.
