Bug/AI Issue?

Post by rkniles »

After buying BII last night, this morning I tried my first game--Husky. Computer Allies vs Human Axis. On the first turn the AI fails to go through its full routine and after monkeying around with the play and "X" keys eventually turns over the Allies to me, the human player. I've been playing KP, ATD, and BIN for a long time, so I don't think its me, or my computer. What gives

I'm not sure what the problem might be, I haven't seen this myself nor have I seen reports from others. As far as I know the AI is working fine. Have you been able to duplicate this? Does it happen in any other scenarios? If so, please post a save file that duplicates it for you and I and SSG will take a look. Thanks.

Thanks Eric. There are other people echoing the same issue now on the SSG website. "Shingle" seems to work fine for the first turn, then hangs up with same issue on turn 2. I've tried on both computers I have here--same thing. What's the best way to get you a save file, since I can't get all the way thru turn 1?

I'll try to duplicate this here. If the report bears out, SSG will have to investigate this and see if they can come up with a quck fix. They are now asleep (as they are in Australia), but should be in the office again this evening, around 7PM EST.

Could you post a screenshot of the exact settings you are using to start the scenario (AI level, hidden units, etc. - the whole settings screen) so that I can make sure my test matches yours? Thanks.

I can verify this bug. I can reproduce this consistently by having the AI play against itself (every scenario). Default settings.

I have the same issues, judging from the SSG forum i'm sure you have an abundance of saves/input but if you need more yell.

Been playing as Allies and have encountered no problems whatsoever...looking forward to the patch but enjoying the Allied side much more than BiN in this case[8D].
