Bug, glitch or what?

Hi-playing US, v1.5, scenario 16, early Feb. 42. I have a squadron of B-17s (16) that I upgraded at Anchorage. Subsequently, I transferred them to Lunga, via Pearl & Canton. I paid the political points to transfer to SoPac, which happened. However, after saving game & returning to play, the 17s are now assigned to NorPac. I did the whole routine again, with same results. Suggestions? Hugh Browne

You have computer control of that area turned on? It is possible it's commander outvoted you and changed them back.

Mr. Frag-At the time I upgraded at Anchorage & now, computer control in NorPac, human control in SoPac. Should I go to human control in NorPac, or all areas? Thanks, HB.

As long as the area the plane is within is on computer control, it is likely to flip it back. You might need to turn it off for a turn just to get them outta there. [;)]

I have had the same kind of thing with an RAF flight that I evacuated to Oz via the DEI from Singapore. Every turn it changed back to Malaya Army control, even though it is in Brisbane which is under human control (Malaya Army HQ does not exist anymore, but SE Asia is under computer control). It sems that some units are more or less "hardwired" for specific commands, and the computer wants them back when it gets control of their command.
