Matrix got me again

Post by AlvinS »

Just when I thought I had bought enough wargames, Battles in Italy comes out. This year alone I have purchased FPG, HTTR, TS-ATG, BIN, GGWAW, and now BII. I also own UV and WITP. Talk about overload. [:D] This is a banner year for Matrix Games, and wargamers alike. I don't know what I would do without this place. [8D]

Keep em coming. Can't wait for Mark Walker's Lock N Load Band of Heros.

You know thats a baordgame right.........

Boy where do you get the time........

Problem I had is that I kept buying wargames but then realised that I was never giving any game enough time to fully learn the system and appreciate it. Thus some even left the HD to make room without a real good play.

Im now very very choosey.

Yep. I like to play boardgames when I get the chance. I have Lock N Load Forgotten Heros also and its alot of fun.

I agree with you that having this many games makes it hard to really learn the system of one. Even though I own alot, I go through phases where all I play is a particular title. For me its a weakness, like someone who goes backpacking and always wants to see whats over the next hill.
Boy where do you get the time........

I have been on Disability with back problems for a few months. I am just now starting back to work part time. These games help me keep my sanity while being stuck at home alot.

I could not turn this title down because I love BIN so much.

Well, I remember these guys, since, well, before they were these guys

and ever since I have always bragged them up and tried to get others who were interested in the same stuff as I, to give them there support

so, if and when anything comes out that is anywhere close to an area I am interested in, I will buy it, and can't really say I have been disappointed in any of the games that I have gotten

( a little sad that the game I was on to beta test died, but so be it)

(heck I even ended up buying two copies of WitP, I bought the DL and the disk, but when I got my new puter, I couldn't find the disk anywhere, so..., bought the DL again, this last week, looking for my Birth Certificate, I found the disk !!!!, oh well, still money well spent)

I just wish they could pump them out faster

That's my problem. [:(]

I'm still pondering on BiI for that reason.. there are a couple of Matrix releases coming up that are must-buys for me, and I'm anticipating spending a fair bit of time with the ProSim Falklands War game. I'm not sure BiI would actually get played after the first couple of weeks or so.

I buy both the download and disk as well........ and fully agree that this is money well spent. What game were you beta testing prior to it's demise??
