Air Unit formulas

Post by Lokioftheaesir »

To those who know

As part of Mogami's effort to produce a 10May 1940
game i need to know how the air factors are worked out. I know they have been posted before but will send you a bottle of my home brew mango spirit if someone can repeat the cannon and load formulas.

Thanks

Does this mean I get the mango juice? The units marked with astrix have that aircraft data already in WF.exe file. If the MB-152 is the same as Bloch-152 it is there also. Battle and Gladitor data is there too. Less work then we thought. We will need to work up the Curtis-75 and all the Brit planes since they start with Spitfire-IX and no Hurricane.

It would still be handy to have the cannon and load formulas.

You know, like a 20mm cannon is 4 or 5 cannon pt's (or something like that) and each 1000kg of bombs is 10 or 15 load pt's

Ricky?? Svar?? Was it one of you that knew them?

Hello Loki
I used the values that Yohan worked out.
IIRC they are
Rifle caliber turret/Fexible mount = 0.5
Rifle caliber Fixed Fwd mount = 1
0.5 cal turret/Flexible mount = 1
0.5 cal fixed Fwd mount = 1.5
12.7mm Russian + 15mm German Fixd fwd mount = 2
20mm Fixed Fwd = 3
20mm British + 20mm German MG = 3.5
30mm Fixed Fwd = 4
30mm HV fived Fwd = 6
37mm Fixed Fwd = 7
x 1.25 for Nose mounted twin engine Fighters

The bomb load is simply the carrying capacity of the aircraft at normal/standard load (in Lbs ) /100
"We're having a war, and we want you to come!"
So the pig began to whistle and to pound on a drum.
"We'll give you a gun, and we'll give you a hat!"
And the pig began to whistle when they told the piggies that.
