Just saying hello. For those who don't know, I'm the creator of Starships Unlimited (Stun) and apparently a bunch of other things on Stun 2 (according to the credit page at least ).

Andy, the game (STUN) looks good and STUN2 should be great - Matrix is a top-flight operation and I think you've done quite well for yourself by joining-up. Any idea as to a release date and a price tag? As above, WAGs are fine.

Hey Deanco, you really get around. I'll let David discuss release dates, remember, I'm a programmer

Andrew,

Welcome aboard. As a shareware STUN owner and a Matrix founder, let me give you a big pat on the back. Great work! We're all glad to have you here and looking forward to the release of the next generation in Starships Unlimited.

Ladies & Gentleman: I think your going to have a real winner here. Ever since Matrix made the anouncement I went and downloaded the original and haven't stop playing it since. I find it very addictive, kinda like a Civ II in outerspace. Welcome to the Matrix family and hopefully things go according to planned.

Since moo1&2 i havent really paid much attension nor playd any star-strategies. Not to mention stun is one of the only games for long time (along with spwaw) that i have played at all or intensively. Great work!

And the AI, even at intermediate, so challenging. Hope its not cheating(!)

I am eager to see what Matrix does with the old engine. The lack of graphical and multimedia quality was the key problem with the original STUN. Not that I would mind a few Star Trek sound effects here and there for old times' sake. Although I'm sure that would result in a legal tussel with Paramount as soon as the game hit the shelves.
