Yeah, Yeah! And then fly for about 8 seconds until the engine burns out, and we go sailing over a cliff, holding a little sign with the word "OUCH!" on it.[:)]

The Wellington was a twin-engined aircraft; the classic British four-engined bombers were the Short Stirling, the Handley-Page Halifax, and the Avro Lancaster.

The "Dam Buster" bombs, or bouncing bombs, were only ever used on the German Ruhr valley dams, and could only be carried by specially modified Lancasters, because the bombs had to carried externally and sideways, so they could spin, and bounce across the surface of the water.
