New Additions to STUN: DG

Are there plans for new additions and/or mods to game? Specifically, I would like to see the graphics for the artifacts and sentries have the same quality as the starships and planets. I know it sounds petty for such a good stategy game, but I have a background in design and can't help hoping.

It was a design decision to make all planetary objects appear as a sensor "scan" in game. As such, there probably won't be any changes... unless Andrew and Dave decide to add them.

But i'm sure the future will let players developp their own race portraits and ship designs.

Afterall, a picture's a picture. It's only a matter of exchanging them.
Couln't it be made so that those pictures were in a directory, so only by using the same format and renaming the images we made to those of the game we could create personalised versions of Stun.?
