Question on the Consol thingy

Post by Flop »

Gooood evening.

I am just getting into this game and the PBEm is awesome. Granted I have lost or am loosing every game I have played but it's fun none the less. I was just going back and reading all of the rules updates and such and I read about the Console thingy on the PBEM games. I looked at the 5 PBEM games I have running at the moment and 2 of them have that thingy. One says SO:2 and one say Ger: 1

I assume that means Soviet and Germany but here is my question. In one of the games that number relates to a side I am playing and in one game it is my opponent. Would saving the game in the middle of a turn and then reloading it to complete the turn cause that? I ask becasue I have an 8 year old daughter and I save when she comes home from camp or in from playing with her friends and I am wondering if that is what caused the Ger number.

Thanks: Flop

If you save the game, and then reload that file, you should not cause an increase in the Load Count. If you load a different save from the game, you would cause the Load Count to increase. As long as you always load the last save you made (and you always save before exiting), you should not see your Load Count go up.
All understanding comes after the fact.
