Map Problem

Post by EasilyConfused »

Hello, first I want to thank Andrew Brown for his excellent extended map and the CHS team for their fantastic improvement to the game.

I do have a problem, that is either to do with the extended map or CHS. For some reason I cannot load troops or fuel (though I can load supplies) at any of the "off-map" bases. Most likely I screwed up somewhere, but I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

Thanks!

This happens when you don't have the correct map data file loaded. Did you follow all of the installation instructions when installing the maps, and did you run the ModSelect utility to select the modified map before starting the game? You can verify that the correct map data file is loaded by using the '1' key and examining the terrain type in the "off-map" base hexes. They should not be ocean (Oa).

Thanks, I'm not surprised its something like that, though I'm pretty sure I installed it right. I'll just redownload it and try again.

Yup that worked, thanks. I really like how you did the extensions.
