Aerial supply?

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Aerial supply?

Post by Bugsy »

First: I'm new to KP.

In the 1st Ukranian Front scenario, there's that pocket of Russian units, right. I thought that they would be out of supply and be easy pickings (isolated), but they always have full supply.

So, wozzup? Are they getting supplied by air?

Cheers!

Two things to look at there:

1) There is a supply dump of stocked supplies... it may run out (long after you tire of waiting)...

2) The strongpoints and/or forts maybe providing supply (they can do this)

Airdrop is possible (but it doesn't happen in KP).

JSS,

Thanks for the clarification.

It's now turn 11 and my two divisions of reinforcements are preparing to crush that persisent pocket. Then on to the offensive.
