there is a patch for BOE

adds some of the newer planes into the BOE missions

havn't read the readme yet, so not sure if it needs the leaked 400 patch or not, but funny it is named BOE 4.00

I not so sure about this BOE patch, Big thing with it is you can now fly the Mustang MkIII (and you get the Tempest as AI)

which in the pre patch, you could fly the Mustang C, which basicly, a Mustang MkIII

oh well, it is for verison 4 of IL/PF and it works with it, and is a complete update of all the BOE patches

why would anyone want to fly the MkIII ? , you can fly anynumber of Spits with Cannons or the worthless damage model of the 50 cal in the game ? and the 51 D with 6 50 cals is HARD to kill with as it is, a 4 gun model ??? , I think I would stick with the Spit IXs

BUT, got to admit, the ground war was awesome, first missions I got 7 train cars, 2nd mission I got 5 Guns and 14 cars/trucks (hmmm, I dropped two 500 pounders in a Train station, got 2 HT firing rockets, got 2 or 3 Arty , chopped up a number of trucks and cars headed down the road, and finished off with ripping a train apart on the way out)

now I did get 3 or 4 trucks, but my bombs landed in the middle of 3 trains, and I ripped the moving train apart, guess the game can't count
