How to start with reduced 1st and 2nd Marine Divisions?

Post by Pascal_slith »

Hi All,

haven't been on the forum in a while (moved from Switzerland to Southern California!).

I do have a question. Some of the USMC Defense Battalions at the beginning of the war were created by depleting the 1st and 2nd Marine Divisions. I'm working on an OOB fix to have these two divisions appear in San Diego on Dec. 7th. However, they obviously cannot be fully combat ready on that day. Other than giving them huge fatigue levels, will giving them reduced numbers of their different units in the 'Locations' section of the database work? Will the divisions build up to the full OOB as indicated for the generic Marine Divisions in the 'Locations' database? Is there a way of having them appear with, say, 1/3 of their OOB and have that build up to a full OOB?

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Pascal

Hey Pascal long time...

Just make sure the units points to the right TOE (2018) and you can reduce the starting elements to whatever you wish... And the unit will slowly start building towards it's TOE

-How do I point the unit to 2018?

In the Locations tab, find the unit you wish to edit, go to page three, then enter desired TOE number (2018 in this case) here:

But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage.
