Turn based gaming

Post by ilovestrategy »

I have played lots of MMo's over the years, Ultima online, Everquest, Star Wars galaxies, World of warcraft, but none of them keeps me coming back like a good old fashioned turn based game where you can conquer the world! This game just simply rules [:)] I suck at it but it still rules LOL. And it was released stable too! I read the hearts of iron II forum today and people are complaining of crashing.
After 16 years, Civ II still has me in it's clutches LOL!!!
Now CIV IV has me in it's evil clutches!

You love strategy, just wait, SC2 will rule the genre. And whatever you do ILS, don't skip the PBEM aspects.

"ILS" is you, silly. SC2 is "Strategic Command 2, under development by Battlefront.com.

Right, Monkey?

I played Civ3 and I enjoyed it, but it doesn't have the same flavor since Sid meir didn't make it. It's a real good game though. I never did play the original Civilization.
