PBEM compatibility

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

PBEM compatibility

Post by Clipper1968 »

Are the different version (English,French,German,...) of Cog fully compatible for PBEM or the players have absolutely to get the same version?[&:]
I am just wondering whether I should pick up the English version,or wait for the French version release.
At least could I hope that it has been correctly translated...[:D][:D][:D] as most of the time the people involved in the translation don't even know what they are talking about... [;)]

They'll be compatible, though the reports the players read will be written in the language used by the last human player in the turn order.

It would be nice, but it's not as easily implemented as you might imagine, and it may be the case that the resources required to implement this would be better allocated elsewhere.
