I'm playing the 2nd Beta Version and am loving it.

I should have waited for 1.0, though. I'm up to May 42 and would like to start with 1.0 but just can't start 12/7 again.

At least I can get the new art additions that Elf does. I just love those plane tops.

Maybe I'll keep this game going and start again if a No-Spawn version makes an appearance. (me no likey the respawn function)
The older I get, the better I was.

I'm waiting for Andrew Brown's final set of map adjustments. Then I'm going to start a brand new game with V1.6 and the lastest CHS. I can hardly wait .....

Don't wait for the new map - I expect it to take about 2-3 months to complete the next update. I can't wait that long myself - I am FINALLY looking to play this game...

Information about my WitP map, and CHS, can be found on my WitP website

Thanks for the update. Somehow I got the idea it was due out around noon tomorrow. Better this way - I'll pick up a case of beer tomorrow and start the big game tomorrow night. Bye all....

Ron was the no-respawn guy on CHS. I know he's done all the research for the extra ships. Maybe he'll be able do to something along those lines....

OK question time again. You are going to use official 1.60 with CHS 1.0 and what AB map? The one with Panama & Mid-East or without (standard CHS revised for 1.60??). Correct me if I got them back-wards. Which map is going to take 2-3 months?

Sorry people that this tired old brain gets lost so easily.

OK

There are versions of CHS for both Andrew Brown maps.

1. CHS itself (Scenario 155) uses the EXTENDED map - the one with Panama and the Middle East.
2. A modified CHS (Scenario 154) for the STANDARD map - Andrew Brown's version of the basic map.

The map items that are being delayed are some corrections and updates. The List is here:
http://www.matrixgames.com/default.asp? ... 6%23885473

You can get CHS for the Extenced Map at Spooky's.

You can get CHS for the Standard Map at Andrew Brown's CHS Site. Both versions of CHS are actually available here but I am not 100% sure if they are up to date for the latest release of CHS (1.0). If not now - soon.

It is getting a little crazy. There are also some additional scenarios based on CHS, including one by CHS team member Lemurs!. And we have a non-ANZAC/India HQ modified version that we are saving in case the ANZAC/India HQ changes turn out to cause some problems.

You can't tell the scenarios without a program!

CHS feels great. Although I am new I am playing CHS Head to Head (v1.5 hesitant about upgrading as it was a major success for me to install the scenario). Only couple of days into the campaign and it is a lot of fun (as much as it can be giving orders to both sides, but at least I am getting to know more about the game).

Great work guys on the scenario, map and plane/ship graphics!

Yes, my site has the latest versions of CHS (including a fixed version of scenario 154).

If I get some PC time I'll give a no respawn version a whirl.

OK now I know the terminology AB Extended and Standard Maps and where they can be found. Now for clarification, can I used Matrix 1.60 with CHS 1.0 and the existing AB Extended Map (for 155) knowing it has not yet been updated? Is 1.60 at all compatible with 155?

Feeling slower all the time.
