Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Can I take a look at all the leaders (naval and land) of all nations and their initiative+tactical+morale attritubes plus special abilities? how hard is it for players to modify such statistics and add leaders individual players may regard important enough to show up in the game?

Personally, I would rather wait for the game and discover these attributes as I play through it, so I'll avoid this thread in case you get a reply....[:)]

The game is designed to be mod-able, so ... However, precise instructions can wait until after you have it. This information is all in commndr.txt (different for each scenario). The information for each commander is:

name
MugshotNo
DiedIn (automatic retirement? - I am not sure this is implemented)
nation
turn-#_base0 (when they come on)
province (where they come on)
InitModf
Rank
Tactics
Morale
Cavalry
Naval (I don't think this is implemented)
SpecTac0
SpecTac1
SpecTac2

Only the last three (the SpecTacs) use funny codes - all the rest are easy to understand. For example: of the 73 generals in 1805, here are the number with each tactics rating
Rating No of Generals
12 1
9 1
8 5
7 6
6 10
5 8
4 19
3 8
2 14
1 1

13 have cav mods ranging from 1.1 to 1.8, etc.
