Downloading updates

Downloading updates

For the past week I have been unable to connect to the server to download updates (specifically SPWAW and WITP). I used both Internet Explorer and Netscape; I have no problem downloading from other sites. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having this same problem, have sent mail to their tech support, and have gotten no reply. I did end up finding the patch for the game I'm playing (World at War) at File Front, and so lucked out. You may try the same - I'm not sure what's up with their servers, but I get the same lack of activity when I go to download. [:@]

Just in fairness to Matrix, and to add some closure to this old thread - Matrix did end up getting back to me, and were very helpful.  The problem turned out to be some wierd issue I was having between windows firewall and my router firewall - I disabled the Windows Firewall just to get through the download, and everything worked out ok.
 
Anyway, they were very responsive to helping me work through the situation one on one with some very detailed help, so I rate their tech support at the top of my list!  [8D]
