Altering options mid-game (PBEM or single play)

Post by Ursa MAior »

One of my fixa idea (fond beliefs) that US DC was significantly better than the japanese only after the great carrier battles of '42, basically after mid '43.
So my question is when I play a long campaign (say 1/6/42-31/12/43) is it possible to change the settings mid game? In regard of single play and PBEM (of course supposing my opponent agrees)

Hi [:)]

What settings do you wish to change?

According to section 8.3: Realism Options Sub-menu of the manual:

"Realism settings cannot be changed once a scenario begins."

Drinking a cool brew; thinking about playing my next wargame....
