Some 20 Years ago I watched Dnager UXB on Masterpice Theater, then I was like 12 or someting, at at anyrate, I recently rented it using my NETFLIX acount, I do recomend it if you havent sean it, a very good show indead.

What I got to woundering though as I watched it last night, was what about Allied delayed action fuses?, and the German counterpart(s) to the Danger UXB crews, Someting I must admit to Never haveing read a thing about, I asume the Allies used such things but I have no idea whear to even look for a link, or a Book title, anyone have a clue?

Definitely a great TV series. I bought the DVD set a year ago or so. It is available at alibris.com for about $60
They struggled with a ferocity that was to be expected of brave men fighting with forlorn hope against an enemy who had the advantage of position......knowing that courage was the one thing that would save them.

You are right. UXB was a great series. The only book I know about and can recommend is Danger Uxb by M J Jappy. Powell's has a copy on sale for around $11.00 that I saw today at their Burnside store. (I noticed you are from Oregon too). Also available on-line from Powells.

Danger UXB and Reilly Ace of Spies were two of my favorites but there was a third series that I really enjoyed too. It was called A Family at War and told the tale of three sons and their parents who lived in WWII Britain.....there were some soap opera elements to the show but it was still compelling viewing and the opening theme music introduced me to Raph Vaughn Williams Symphony #6...I also remember the actor who played the father was in the 50's B movie The Crawling Eye....
