Detailed Battle questions

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Detailed Battle questions

Post by nukkxx5058 »

hi, some questions aabout detailed battles mode.

thanks to refer to numbers in you answers :-)

1) how do I evaluate the progress of the battle / i didn't notice any victory bar or other indicator

2) detailed battle are very long. Is there a possibility to switch the detailed battle to an automatic resultion to speed it up if necessary ? (i didn't find a way to exit the detailed battle)

3) are they any objective points ? I don't find it easy to figure out what shold my army do to win except kill all ennemies :-)

Thanks.

1)until one side rout, you couldn't know who is winning.
it's a nice consequence of the fog of war.
if you play 92 scenario you will notice than battle could be shorter, with low moral army could break more quickly.

2)there is no way to exit from a detailed battle. the only way to speed of would be to give control of both side to the AI (Q shortcut)

3) there are no objective points, all the objective is to break your opponent moral .Best way is to disorder/rout as many as opposite unit.
