Hi there, a small poll just for the fun of it.

I have a gravely damaged Brit cruiser in a level 4 port with an AR, a second AR one is on the way, but will she make it....[;)]

It might help to vacate the other damaged ships.

Of course she'll make it.. she's British and we Brits don't go bloody sinking.. a cup of tea will soon sort her out and she'll be back in battle before you can say 'stop throwing those bloody spears!' [:D]

So when did it transfer back from the New Zealand Navy?

She was built in Britain for the RN was she not? That makes her a British made ship in my book [:)]

I played a scen 16 vs the AI and lost one of the BBs in Pearl with no further strikes on the base. She sank in port from the damage she started the scenario with.

I don't think Luganville has a repair yard. It has a size 4 port, and one AR atm. Hmm, guess I'd say no. Depends on how long you have to wait for the AR and how bad your luck is on the rolls.[:D]
Yamato, IMO the best looking Battleship.

I would say unlikely, especially considering the other damaged ships in port.

No just the Kongo, every other ship of this "class" were built in Japan. They differed slightly, turret design being one of the main factors that comes to mind atm.

Only Kongo herself was built in England; her three sisters were built in Japanese shipyards.

So I guess you wouldn't call the F4 Phantom an American plane? Because it was sold to virtually every western airforce around the world, it'll be a 'world' airplane?

Or CV-24, Belleau Wood.. that'd be a French carrier in your book, would it? Since it spent the last 7 years of it's life with the French navy?

When I said 'British' I meant British designed and built.. but I should have been more specific because I forgot that members of 'nitpickers anonymous' frequented this forum.

Calm down, Banquet. He said "British-made", not "British"; if the Kongo was built in a British yard, then it's a British-made ship.

Over 50 CVE's were transferred to the Royal Navy under Lend-Lease; all of them were built in American yards. That makes them American-made.
