This clears the way for some interesting thoughts, If the fait of my cruiser is deceided by a single diceroll, a "quantum state of sort" it COULD be possible that it is both sunk AND still afloat at the SAME time.

If it had been a IJN ship, it would even have keeled over if a toilet had been blocked on a perfectly undamaged ship. The damage control crews would most probably have tried to remove the blockage by launching a "long lance" at the suspected blocking site. After the detonation, the toilet would STILL have been blocked and the damage control crews would have radioed the nearest BB for help, by letting it hit the suspecting blockage site with a few 14/16"shells.

After that, NO MORE BLOCKAGE........[:D]

There should be AAR's that follow a single lesser high profile ship for the duration of the game/war.

Would be interesting to see the fate of one Cruiser/Destroyer for the length of the war, and all the operations its involved in and damage picked up along the way.

Don't bet on it.. I once had an AV sit in Luganville port (level 6 at the time) with 99 sys and 90 flt. After 3 turns the float went down to 70, but she sank on the 4th [:(]

I COULD scuttle her, but that would just give my PBEM opponent (Zecke) even MORE VP's. As he is still firmly in the lead and is DEEPLY entrenching himself in the solomons, I need al the VP's I can get to bead him in 1945.....

Get her to a rair yard and park a few ar's there you'll be surprised how quickly she will repair. Had all the dutch cl's pounded to hell 80-90 sys damage in darwin ( port attack by KB). limped the in to the southern repair ports with 4 ar's at each and it took about 3/4 months to get them fully repaired.
