Stranded Leaders and arrested leaders

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Have you tried just moving them? Diplomats can certainly swim on their own (dont need ships) and I though leaders had the same movement.

If you do need to send ships, be aware that you will need to either use an ally's port, or take the city with foot soldiers - an access agreement is not enough, nor can you use a enemy port, even if it is empty.

The arrested guy comes back when the war is over - till then, he is in jail.

Page 22 of manual states that Generals do need to be attached to ships to enter sea zones. Only Diplomats can do do so without ships.

Right of Passage should include ships docking in ports, it would seem to me. Sounds like that is not the case...?

heh.. its my - British - way of isolating and even destroying all the land forces and leaders of Turkey in Morocco when it tried to risk escaping on board from the port there. I hardly remember I did capture any leader after decimating their naval force, would they just sink with the remnants of the ships?
