Disappearing inf div's??

I am pretty sure I am not hallucinating but I thought that I assembled a TF of AP's to transport a divion and when I noticed that I didn't have enough AP capacity to hold the division (believe it was the 21st or 27th)I selected, I backed out using the ESC key. Went back to check what other divisions I had at the base and the division was gone. Happened on johnston I. Did the whole process again and I lost another division (can't recall which one). I don't remember this happening with the original pac war, but maybe I am mistaken. Anybody run into this?
