HCI Issue with Interface

Post by Kipper »

Guys

Great game but I cannot play the detailed battles - which would have been one of the highlights of the game for me - simply because looking at all the jiggling units (when shaken) literally gives me eye-strain and a mild headache and I have to stop playing and leave the PC. I have never experienced anything like that before.

In the patch can you have an option to put a little Exclamation Mark on a disordered unit to signify that it is shaken.

Thanks

Kipper,

We'll see if we can offer a non-scrolling option for these battles.

I don't think it's anything to do with the scrolling as such - it's the jiggling of the little squares (in icons) or ribbons (in figure view) that identifies when a unit is "shaken" that causes the problem for me I think. Tried again this morning and same thing.

Great game. In fact, Erik, when I cleaned out my PC last week I realised that apart from TOAW all the games I left were Matrix games! Thats' saying something so keep it up!

The jiggling units have not given me a headache so far but I would prefer a simple
indicator as you suggest. It would also be nice to have an option to turn off the weather graphics, I find them very distracting.

Sounds like a no-wiggle mode is in order.
