Radius Rings

Post by loqtes »

I am new to WITP and this is likely a very silly question but I have been over and over the manual looking for what the various color radius rings around TF's mean? Any help would be appreciated...[;)]

If you are referring to the green radius ring around a TF when its selected on the map, it is the distance the TF can move for that day. It changes in size according to what speed it's ordered to move at. ( for example 'full speed')
It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?

Actually, the circles related to a selected TF show how far that TF can move in a single phase at full speed/cruising speed. The circles related to a selected air unit show that air unit's normal/extended range.

Is it just me, or did the range circles for aircraft change a while back. The black circle used to be normal, and red was extended. Now black is extended, and red is...?

Must be just you![:D]

In my game (originally 1.50, upgraded to 1.60), the red is extended, black is normal range. Or it was ten minutes ago.
