Multi-nation foraging

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Multi-nation foraging

Post by Reg Pither »

If there are three armies - home, allied and enemy - in a province, do 'home' armies get a bigger share of foraging supplies than allies? Do home and/or allied armies get a bigger share than enemy armies? Does the army that was there first get a bigger share? Or are the supplies gained from foraging simply evenly distributed beween all armies in a province depending on army size, regardless of who controls the territory?

I have no idea, so you can (a) hope ericbabe responds to this thread or (b) try to figure it out and let us all know what you find [or preferably both]

The base values are evenly divided, but foraging in home territory is less deadly than foraging in enemy territory.

A side note. Get "Organised Foraging" as early as possible, it pays.
