Wanting Japanese CHS Opponent

Post by John III »

I have two WitP Campaigns running from the Japanese side and am interested in playing the Allies for a change. Would also like to try CHS option.

Want to find an opponent before doing the downloads.

Only real rule that I am interested in is that the 1st Japanese Turn MUST be realistic and reflect, within reason, what the Japanese did in real life.

Also want Allied Sub Doctrine ON to reflect the reality of how the US Sub force started out.

TAKERS??

That is the Combined Historical Scenario that the gang has put together. It uses a larger map and more detailed ships and shipping. It is WitP with several designer improvements and added detail (though that thought somewhat scares me [:D]).

I think you can find it at Spooky's website. If you are itnerested in trying a campaign, we could use the stock Scenario 16 for WitP. Do you have much experience playing the game?

I have some info on this page which might help:

Its not a problem if you have a good broadband connection - mine whizzes over. If yuo are on dial up maybe post and ask if anyone is able to burn it to CD for you and post you a copy from somewhere local?

I did that for several players in the UK when most people had braodband and SPWAW first came along.

These days in UK its not an issue as broadband is so cheap and relaible here suddenly. [;)]

Thanks Andrew! That helps a lot for doing that download. Having it all in one place and organized makes life a heck of a lot easier.
