Who knew the Swedes could produce Cossacks???

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Sorry, I was obviously unclear. Yes, that is clearly the swedish flag in your screenshots. But my question was, if Nation A lends troops to Nation B, whose flag flies over those troops? I assume it would be Nation B, the Nation actually controlling the troops. If that is true, then it could explain what you saw. The troops might have been Russian, but on loan to Sweden. But that is all predicated upon the assumption that lent forces are flagged with the borrowers colors. I've never borrowed or lent troops myself. Anyone know if that is a valid assumption?

There is a way that borrowed troops turned your troops permanent. Not sure how but it has happend with me before. I think if they end up prissoners, and then get released, that may be how it happens. But I do remember that I ended up with Blucher in one of the games, as the brits. I borrowed his army for a bit, and once the time was up somehow the Prussian troops ended up staying with the brits, including Blucher.

Was kinda kewl, thought his constand comments about his Kinder Soldiers made me worry about his sanity.

Did your Swedes take any Cossack-producing provinces from Russia? Just not sure if you can steal its military heritage this way. :p
