Just like to mention

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Just like to mention

Post by MartNick »

Thought this needed saying, even though most of my posts on here have been flagging up potential problems and bugs. I happen to think CoG is one of the most original games available not only for its genre but all PC games. There was a game called 'Napoleon 1813' I think, CoG is everything that game tried to be, I hope with the upcoming patch(es) this game will be an absolute winner. Great job to everybody involved with getting this game to us.

Right, that said back to playing [:D]

I couldn't agree more. Despite the occasional bug and the fact that I'm at a total loss when it comes to economy (which seems rather realistic in it's own way) this is the first game in years that keeps me up far into the nights. [:'(]

I'm very happy with the game. Congratulations to the team.

Despite my critism, I would buy the game again. It has come closest to what I want from a Nap game yet. And I am sure it will get support from its team for a long time to come.

Yeah… despite my criticism and some tweaks that I would like to see. I'm glad that I got the game.

I haven't slept in days. My wife is mad at me. My son wants to help me play (he's 1, bangs on the keys...not very helpful). I'm planning on being sick tomorrow so I can finish my current game. [:D]

Great game!

Yes, I agree with all that, too. Still a cracking game, warts 'n' all. And looks like it will only get better as the devs obviously care enough to improve things with patches. [:)]

Excellent game! [&o]

greetings, just want to agree with all you, for me it's the best game ever, must say i are a fanatical of turn based strategy and don't like these hibrids arise in the market between strategic turn based and real time, i respect real time, but having to select prefer turn based, i just want more games like Crown of Glory.

with best regards,

alaric.

It's a great a great game, although War in the Pacific is, by a rather large margin, ALOT more fun to play.
It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?

If I woke up one day and they told me that I had absolutely nothing to do for the rest of my life, then I might sit down and try to get back into WitP. In the meantime, life demands dictate that games like COG are more to my liking.

That's the beauty of that game, you can play it out and sneak a game of CoG in hear and there. [;)]
