Conquering China

I am using an older version of PacWar (1.1 or 1.2) and it is so easy to conquer China as the Japanese player. The key is to not use the units assigned to the China AG. Instead, march a few divisions in from other HQ's, such as 14th Army, 15th Army and 16th Army. Those units do not have to pay 10 times preparation points to get activated, and rather quickly can cut up the Chinese.

Has this changed in any of the more recent PacWar versions?

No, but there are some special PBEM rules, which I might bring back up from the depths of this message board concerning NON-CEA troops. Basically, it would be unfair to send in troops from other armies to fight the Chinese in China. The same goes for British/Indian troops in Burma going over to China.
