Cancel orders?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Cancel orders?

How do I cancel orders for an army, fleet etc?
(It happens several times that I've given order to move an army by mistake.)

Unfortunately, there is no way to cancel orders. Given that it's too easy to click in the wrong place when trying to select something else, this can be a real game wrecker. There's a reasonable chance that this will change in a forthcoming patch, although probably not the first one. [:(]

Edit : Having just checked the 'Update Plans' thread above, adding an undo function for movement is a 'priority for the second patch'. [:)]

Store the game before you are gonna make any move you may possibly rue for or screw up.

Yes, please, please, please give us a cancel button. Before I realized what was going on, I had my armies marching in circle after circle because I thought I was actually undoing a move, not telling it to just keep marching and marching!

That's only funny to those of us who have done the same thing. Which is to say, we all found that funny. [:'(]
