Play on a laptop? Virtual PC?

Post by olperfessor »

Can this game be played on a laptop? I am replacing my desktop (already too feeble to play this game)and might want to have a laptop. But the game's video requirements seem stiff, and a gig of memory isn't cheap.

If I buy an Apple, will Vietual PC let me play this game? Any advice? Thank you.

If you meet the system requirements, it will run on a laptop (best to clear the video memory hurdle with some memory to spare). I know Keith runs it on his laptop. I can't speak for Virtual PC. Hopefully someone out there can answer this question.

Thank you, Joel.

I don't know how many people use Virtual PC, but my outsider's guess would be that a game company would enjoy some more sales if their game did work on Apples with Virtual PC -- and they had a way to let potential customers know.

I use an iBook for word processing at coffeeshops, on Amtrak, etc., and would love to have a good game available for off hours.
