MLE's?

Post by elxaime »

It is July 1942. I have a US MLE anchored in a size 3 port with 100k plus (and counting) supply.

I put a Dutch ML there to have it reload mines, but nothing happens. Both ships have only 1-2 system damage.

What gives? I am putting tons of supply into this little port trying to get it to have "sufficient" supply (whatever that is, the rules dont say how much you need)

Any help here?

IIRC MLEs will only load mines onto ships of their own nationality. Hence a USN MLE will ONLY load mines onto a USN ship.

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

There's the problem I think. MLEs will only service ships of the same nationality.

(Edit: seconds late with the reply again. [:D])

I believe the base size has everything to do with it...Allies are Allies. It doesnt matter who parks first at the dock.

Minelayers can reload mines at any base with a port size of 9 or 10, however to reload mines via an MLE the nationality of the MLE and the minelayer need to the the same, no mention of parking anywhere.

The dutch don't have any MLE's. You can create one by sending a dutch 7000t freighter to San Francisco and converting it to a dutch MLE. Of course this will take 6 months so best not to be in too much of a rush
