Surely the easiest way to solve this debate is to look up what kind of torpedo sunk her on the info screen.

Teamwork is essential - it gives the enemy someone else to shoot at.....

AFAIK. Their is NO code for your own torps circling back to hit you in witp. IMO must have been from a Japanese destroyer

confirmation this is, hmm yes....
