Japanese aircraft pools not recieving production

Post by Freedom205 »

I am in the midst of a 41 campaign game as the Japanese, and the Aircraft Pools are not accepting new production. I had suspected this for quite some time, and so i did some experiments with production of aircraft not in use by any air unit, and still the pools will not grow. I am also producing 51 Zeros per week, and no units are recieving replacements, and the pools still stay at 1. any help please, as the US is really ripping my CVs when they have no fighters.

This may sound like a fairly obvious question and is not meant to insult your intelligence, but have you made sure you allowed the 4 weeks from when you changed the production for the new stuff to start being produced?

You should look at the rescource pool. If it is empty no planes will be build. This occurs especially if you take a lot resources manually out of japan.
I experienced it also. Bad thing if your carriers have no zeros.

I also believe that you are suffering from a resource problem. I ran into this when I used quite a few mcs to move large amounts of supply. Apparently there was not enough merchant ships left to move raw materials and my resource pool dropped pretty low. When I moved the MCS units back to the pool, resources quickly came back up and aircraft production restarted.

My Resource pool is at 6500 +, and Oil is around the same. I have been moving a large amount of Supply around, so perhaps that is the problem. I will cease manually supplying for awhile and see what happens.

Thanks
