Banzai! requirements

Hi,

I found the following requirements for Banzai! on the Matrixgames website (the one where you actually buy the game):

Game Features:

• Add-On for Pacific Fighters™
• Compatible with Pacific Fighters™ (IL-2 Forgotten Battles™ required)

So is "IL-2 Forgotten Battles" required to play Banzai!?
I only have the original IL-2 and Pacific Fighters.

I looked around to see what the read me files say, and it don't really say (that I could find)

strange that it would say IL-2 FB would be needed (maybe some of the planes used are from IL-2 FB that didn't come with PF, but I can't think of any offhand)

was poking around and I Remembered something so had to hunt it down

the game comes with 2 patches, 303 and 304, those are not the medge patchs (which would be 303m/304m which is for IL-2FB and PF)

so based on that, I would think it maybe safe to take a chance on it and order it

do you like scripted campaigns ? (as opposted to Dgen campaigns(

Banzai, Fla Blue and Barbarossa are scripted

BOE/TLDs are Dgen camaigns

Well, I prefer dynamic campaigns - TLD is "The last days", correct? What is BOE?

I'll probably play the campaigns that come with Pacific Fighters first (unless someone tells me that they are not worth the time). I have some much fun using my new TrackIR 3 Pro system with Pacific Fighters, I can only HIGHLY recommend it to anyone!

yes I like the DGen campaigns too

BOE is Battles over Europe, by justflight (different people then here)

(ahhh, may not be a good idea right now, you would also need IL-2 and AEP to get the planes to fly it)
