Deaf Gamers Gives CoG 87%

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Deaf Gamers Gives CoG 87%

Post by JosephL »

I'm back from my honeymoon and this review was waiting for me with open arms:

Deaf Gamers, our resident game site that reviews games with all sound and music off to simulate what a deaf player experiences gave CoG an 8.7/10 and a "B" deaf rating, which once again is about as high as you can get without taking special care to cater to deaf gamers specificaly.

Huzzah: Here's an excerpt:
Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon is a great game that successfully blends empire building and strategic battles. It has a depth that is rarely seen these days and once you're comfortable with how the game plays you'll be able to appreciate the game in all of its glory.

In which case, belated congratulations on your wedding !

Wargames are ideal for deaf gamers, I guess, as what sound there is usually only ear candy.
