Multi province protectorates

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

Multi province protectorates

Post by Mackan »

These two situations occurred when playing the game:

1) Poland was a protectorate of Turkey and I caused insurrection in Courland. Then, only the two provinces Krakow and Courland formed the liberated Poland. The rest of the provinces in the protectorate became conquered provinces of the protector Turkey.

2) Denmark was a protectorate of Britain. As a part of a treaty Britain agreed to liberate the province Norway. After the province was liberated, the rest of the provinces in Denmark became conquered provinces of Britain.

I wonder if the outcomes are as they should be?

1) sounds like a bug but i have no polish experience

2) again sounds like a bug - i've noticed to liberate multi-province minors you need to generate a liberate demand for each subordinate province - you should just liberate their capital and that should be that - otherwise the liberating power actually gains from the liberation (loses one province - gains several provinces as home provinces)
