VCR replay different than Execution?

Hi guys, currently am playing the Japanese in a PBEM game, and my opponent, who I have great respect for his ability and honesty, says when he views the VCR playback, that different results are shown if he watches the results a second or third time. Can this be? If I wastch the VCR the results allways match the execution phase, while he says his vary from time to time. Specifically he saw one of my CVs take a 4star hit, when it never did. Also, when viewing VCR, does it tell you how amny times the Japanese played the execution phase?

Make sure you are playing with version 2.2 and this should not happen.

What if I am 2.2 and he is 2.1?

Make sure you and he are in version 2.2. There was a bug in version 2.1.

Something I noticed from the 2.1 bug, was, that the VCR was only playing incorrect footage on the 1st and 2nd turns. By the 3rd and all those afterward they were always 100% correct. So, even if you are using 2.1, after the first few turns you can expect to see the correct VCR playback.
