Detailed Battle Save Bug?

Checked but not seen any reportss on this yet....

If I save during a detailed battle, when the turn cycle completes and I am back at the main stratigic screen once more, the events report does not include activities that occured before the battle save was made[&:]

restart the save (if you saved again after the battle) and play on, it should correct it self in a turn or so

I did a detailed battle in which I saved and noticed something, but I have not confirmed this as yet.

I saved at the start of my units moving. When I restarted the game the AI units all got to move again. Does the turn reset on reload? Is the save supposed to know who is moving and what the iniative order was for the turn on which you saved? I will test this out some more to confirm that the current turn is restarted. Might be hard to notice if my unit was supposed to move and it does again on reload, so I will test doing about 1/2 my troops and seeing if after the save if they all get to move on reload. I also did not notice if the time changed on the turn.

Might be a nice exploit if I could do it all the time and get to move nothing but my units.

Sorry Sarge I missed your report..... It is not really a problem, I just dont get to see the results of earlier battles

Save game in detailed combat sometimes (all the time?) skips to the turn of the next unit. I guess this is a bug! albeit a fairly minor one.

I think if you just keep playing once the bug hits, it will keep not giving you reports, but if you save and exit the game and then restart, it should start giving you reports again the next turn

(Yea, I was hopeing to do a AAR type report on some ideas on Province builds, and I didn't get any info for 6 turns, stopped and restarted and it started to work again)

Oh I have not had that happen... I seem to get full events reports on subsequent turns, it is just the events report for the turn end that had the battle I saved in that seems to be curtailed... there after without reloading it runs properly as far as I can tell.
