been a bit busy today

sleeping about 14 hours after my all nighter lasted about 35 hours...

this is the route the convoy of AKs will take to san francisco for conversion into auxiliaries

ther r currently 35 ships in the convoy

30 AKs with capacity of 7000 or more, 4 MSW and 1 PG are escorting them

the MSW will get dropped off at rangoon most likely wher the convoy will refuel for the trip to darwin, and the PG will stay with the convoy

theyll stay as far away from the coasts in the DEI as possible and maintain cruise speed to conserve fuel

then theyll get more fuel at darwin polly and RV with a CVE or 2, possibly halseys carriers depending on how the upcoming raid at Truk goes

then on to noumea wher theyll refuel, part company with the escorting carriers, and RV with more ASW escorts, then theyl head for Pearl, where they will drop of any and all USN escorts which will refuel and reload and head back to noumea, possibly with a convoy or 2 heading also to noumea

the convoy with the remaining brit escorts will then dock and disband at Frisco for repairs and their refits...

the convoy has RVd with an ASW group and 7 PGs have joined the convoy, they will also be heading for the
yards in firsco for conversion into PT boat tenders

the MSWs have left the convoy and will be heading back to colombo

the convoy now contains 48 ships and will dock at rangoon tomorow

only 14000 japs left, from an army of over 100000

the end is HERE

after most of the troops will head for bangkok and destroy the japs that have landed

and then advance into indochina....
