dont get me wrong, i like pbem games more than AI.
just want to challenge myself and w/o waiting for the next turn, i want to start a singel player game in challenging difficulty. but im annoyed to see that the AI got a huge supply bonus making my tricks on RUS/CHN useless ... and making the scenario ahistoric. not a complain to the game, as i really enjoy the pbem games but just getting annoyed to see the piles of 20+ supplies in CHN and they just repair whatever i have bombed ...

just wonder whether there are any difference btn AI under normal and challenging? i presume there are no diff ...

You could manually up the combat bonus and transport levels and leave the supply at normal level. I would expect you need to give the AI atleast +4 if not +5 to make any real difference.

I suppose you'll be happier when the tcp/ip patch comes out. I'm sure I'll jump on board of that one too, but I can't imagine any beginning players willing to play at such a fast pace, so there might not be many takers initially.

I think it will try different strategys. I've never seen Germany invade Spain or wait until late 42 to attack the USSR on normal level but one level higher and they seem to do it every 4th game or so.
