When playing the 41 campaign, the bases allocated to HQ's automatically change. This happened when I had the central pacific on full human and the rest on full computer for the allies. Is this programmed into the game?

Is there a string or a place to see about strategies and hints for playing either side of the war? (Japanese or Allies)

Go thru the treads on this forum and look for a link to Rich Dionne's web page. I think there is a link on the thread "Premature War End". Look for a document or text file called PwHints11. This document has a lot of helpful hints and tactics.

As long as you have commands under full or partial computer control there going to continue to mess with your full human control command. As you have seen they can work against you. I usually have all my commands under full human control except for China. Remember that when you take over a base that the command that the LCU's are attached to determine the bases headquarters.
