During the end of turn resolution, the game "crashes" to the initial main menu. I have never experienced such a problem before with COG.

This is a new game started under 1.1, the crash appears to happen at random throughout the resolution phase, even after the completion of battles. I have reloaded numerous times and the problem is persistent.

Save available if wanted.

Yes, please zip them and send them to ericbabe@west-civ.com. Have you only had this problem in this current game? This is the first I've heard of anything like this!

Files on there way, and yes this is the one and only time .... though in one of our PBEM the city of Florence has vanished from the map and access screens!!

Having rebooted this AM the save file now loads and runs ok??????

I had come out of COG and restarted the programme, and the load had not worked, but having switched off the PC it is working fine..

you didn't exit a detailed battle did you ?

or maybe save a detail battle, and then exit it, and then go back to playing ?

I have seen something like this, but only from exiting a Detail battle

Yes I had quit a detailed battle, for a different game, shortly before.

when you quit the detail battle, the menu ended comeing up, and you restarted a new game/save ?

then it started to kick back and forth ??

Yes, this was exactly my problem.

yes, I have seen this, I reported it, but don't think anyone really seen it

maybe the game needs to shut down, before a restart, reload

once I exit the game, it seems to work fine, only on quiting a battle and then trying to go on, does it seem to act screwy
